    3. Hi! Pamela: In 1816, Henderson Co., KY, William Jones m. Nancy Ann Sanner (daughter of Isaac & Nancy Ann Sanner). The Sanner family came to Henderson Co., KY from St. Mary's Co., MD ca 1809/10 with a brief stop in Frankfort, KY. I think that William Jones was also from MD. Isaac Sanner was a pilot on the Chesapeake, etc. around St.Mary's Co., MD and there was also a William Jones, Pilot. In Henderson Co., KY there was a Thomas Jones and a Hampton Jones in this time frame of 1810 to 1839 when our Jones family left KY for ARK, Yell Co. Nancy Ann Sanner's sister, Lavinia, m. Frances Cosby and her brother, Thomas Sanner, m. Nancy Collins. I am trying to find out if William Jones' father was a William also. They owned land in Henderson Co. and there was a William Jones, Sr. who had land and then in 1816 when our William married, he appeared on rolls as head of household and as William, Jr. Later William Jr. bought land also. In 1839 when William & Nancy and many children leave, did William Sr. die as he did not show up in ARK. William Jr. died in 1846 in Yell Co., ARK. Any info you can find would be greatly appreciated. I have visited the state archives but have not been able to answer these questions. Thanks: Betty "Pamela K. 2. Pam, thank you for this kind offer, I live in Ca. but I return to Henderson every year to visit my brother. I have three people in Henderson that has me stumped for a very long time. One is a Joseph Benjamin Flether Williams, some think his third name wasn't Flether but Franklin. On his death record it said Flether, but that could be wrong. He married Emily Webster and had a dau. Harriet "Hattie" Lenore Williams who married Samuel Jourdon Gish. Harriet was born Apr 18, 1863. Also looking for Emily Webster's parents all I know about them is her father was either Havilah or Harriah Webster and his wife was amelia ? possible maiden name was Rouse. Emily had a brother Hugh, she was born about 1828 and their parent died young and a James Rouse was made guardian. Also looking for a Charles M. Williams who disappears about 1869. He was married to Lavisa Belle Willingham and she remarried a John T. Golday in Henderson. Lavisa and Charles had the following children Lazarus, Mary Jane, Lavica Belle. Lavise and 2nd husband had the following children by Golday, Charlie, Dell, Dora, Sallie, Carrie, Raymond. I know this is a lot to ask, but if you could only find one I would be elated. If you need more information. let me know, and if you see Mr. James Blue tell him hello for me. Nancy Leeg Jankowski Pamela K. 3. Dear Pam, Thanks for all your hard work. It is difficult to find what we need when we are so far away. I am in California. It's a real small world so I always am wondering if I know or knew folks from Henderson while I lived there. I was Pam Brown, class of 64 City High. Ring any bells? Thanks again for your hard work Pam "Pamela K. 3. Hi Pam... As far as I know I am the list owner, as far as I'm concerned you may send a list of the obit names to the list every so often. If list members complain, we'll do something different. Another idea is to post an abstract of the Obituary to the Henderson County Obituary Board at http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ky/HendersonObits They would then be included in the GenConnect National search engine and the National Surname Helper Search engine.
