Thanks all I've got a bunch of Union Co. books, most compiled by Peyton Heady. George and wife Eliza's burial place not mentioned. I do have a picture of tombstone of George's first wife Martha Fenwick. The rest of the Hites are at St. Vincents, but I couldn't find George or Eliza. Thought maybe they were in Henderson. My mother was from Waverly and she's in St. Louis Cem. in Henderson in the Hamilton plot. Hitesville really isn't that far. Anyway, I'm putting up photos of tombstones at marythomas.homepage.com. I've only got St. Vincents so far, but plan on adding St. Peters, St. Anns, St. Ambrose in Sturgis. Please let me know if you have any problems with the site and I'll do what I can to fix them. Take care all Mary Lee Thomas
Hi Netta I assume she is probably buried in Henderson County, Kentucky since that is the last place I found her on a census and Capt. Payne Dixon is buried in Henderson County. I am looking for the burial place of Rachel Stinson Marrs Dixon. She was married first to Samuel R. Marrs who is buried in Posey County, Indiana. Rachel married 2nd. to Capt. Payne Dixon. Apparently, she died before him, as he shows up in later census records than she does. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks Mary Stinson Claunch-Lane Please visit my home page: http://www2.1starnet.com/marylane/

Netta, Just returned from a trip and read your attached email. Many, many thanks for your assistance and the time you took to look up the family names in Smith Mills. Now if I can tie them together. Some of the names I know, others are new. Having this information in advance of my visit to Smith Mills will make my trip more productive. You have been a wonderful help. Best regards.
