Connie, Thanks for the information. I didn't know that. I guess count the day lost you don't learn something. I will add this information to my instructions so others can dig a little deeper. Some times I am a little tardy in posting them and then if others are like myself, we don't always get everything looked up in a timely manner. Hi Pam I was able to get the 6/20/99 obits by selecting one of the dates available and then changing the date http address to the date I wanted. The correct page came up. It seems that the newspaper may still have the data online, but when update their web page they do not provide an easy access to it. Connie

Sue, here is the obit you requested. Willette B. Stiles, 97, Howardstown, died Thursday, June 17, 1999 in Henderson. He was a retired postmaster, a merchant and a farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Louis Judy of Henderson; one son, W. B. Stiles of Lexington; one sister, Duannah Baker of Louisville; three Grandchildren; and five great-greatchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Brownfield Funeral Home in Hogenville. The Rev. Raymond Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Union Band Cemetery in Howardstown. Freinds may call from noon until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pam

Sue, I was finally able to get into the Gleaner site and it seems that they are now only keeping a couple of weeks on file. At the time I started posting to the list, they kept 4-5 weeks that you could get back to. I have the obits from the paper that I have posted and if you need a look up, let me know and I'll be more than happy to send you the complete obit as it shows in the paper. You weren't doing anything wrong, it just looks like I'll have to keep more up to date with my postings so that they are accessable from the net. Let me know if I can help.
