Looking for information on my grandmother Violet Sutton Redmon Brooks. Her husbands and her parents. As far as I know they all lived in Henderson County. They are all deceased now, but my grandmother would have been born early 1900's. Thanks

Here is what I have on a Nathan Walden: Nathan Walden married Sarah "Sally" Lambert on 27 October 1808 in Henderson County (Henderson County Early Marriages, Book 000A, page 002). Their daughter, Mary Ellen Jane Walden, married (1) Stephen Threlkeld on 15 April 1828, in Henderson County ("Henderson County Records #1, Marriages 1799-1850," Another Researchers Publication, p. 42); and (2) Joel Gregory on 16 October 1836 (Henderson County Early Marriages 1806-1858, Book 001, p. 064). I hope this helps. Jo Anna Dale <jdale@swbell.net> Please note: I did not submit the query - I am only furnishing a reply. Hi. I have a problem here. Is it possible that a person could be listed in two adjoining counties in the same year. I have John Tate as being in Union Co, in 1870 on page 256 in the Caseyville Pct., and also in the Henderson County census on page 227 in the Upper Town Pct. Sharon
I am trying to find a John Tate in the 1840 Henderson County KY on page 229. If anyone has access to this would you be willing to share the info with me. Thanks
It's fair time in Christian county - have maw fix a basket dinner, grab all the younguns, put a new bonnet on the new baby for the baby contest, show your best pickles, and display your cakes and pies, laces and artwork. Watch out pa will be at the race trace betting on the fast horses and slow mules.. The door is open at: http://www.usroots.com/~kyseeker/christian/christalhn.html *******KYSEEKER********
