Since I am new to the list I will go ahead and jump on in. I have been trying to piece together the Webb's that lived in Hart Co - namely Aliczander b. abt 1821 (according to the 1850 census). He may have been the father of Josiah/Joseph Webb, whose son Alic b. 1888 married my g-g'ma in Edmonson Co, Blaine Hattie Webb in 1908. I think the elder Alic was the son of James M Webb, brother of Martin H Webb who settled in Edmonson and also the g-g'pa of Blaine. Would love to be able to confirm or deny either relation. Then there is the Hazelip family. On 1850 Hart Co there are Thomas, Merry, Jesse and Robert (all b. between 1818-28) with their respective families. How are they related to Robert Hazelip & Millian Webb? Now last one - the Crane's. I descend through Charles & Martha Jane (Long) Crane's daughter, Sallie who married Perry Hale Jacobs. Charles is the s/o George & Lucinda (Amos) Crane. Have no idea who the parents of Martha are, but would love to know. Anyone out there working on the Long's????? Thanks. Zandra in Pinellas Park, FL
