Helen, I have Logsdons and Smoots. My Smoot comes in far back when a Lewis Jones b Va lived at Millerstown & buried there. He married a Fanny Smoot of Va. I know one early settler was a John Smoot and Elijah Smoot and a more recent one, perhaps in the 1950's was a Bell Smoot who was a photographer in E-town.
