    1. [KYHART-L] Charlie Bibb Cook
    2. Kate Cook
    3. Hi, I'm researching the Cooks of Green/Hart Counties, KY and my husband's grandfather was Charlie Bibb Cook. He was born February 13, 1878 in Osceola, Green Co., Kentucky and died August 15, 1954 in Hardyville, Hart Co.,Kentucky and was married to Maud Tucker. Charlie was the son of Washington Taylor Cook (born May 16, 1837 in Green Co., KY and died March 04, 1913 in Hart Co., Kentucky) and Nancy Ellen Davenport (born September 14, 1842 in Green Co., Kentucky and died May 06, 1901). Maud was the daughter of Lorenzo Willis Tucker (born July 14, 1848 in Hart Co. and died May 15, 1929 in Hart Co.) and Harriet Lee Hensley (born November 11, 1853 and died December 04, 1904 in Hart Co.). My question is: where did the BIBB come from? Most families named children from previous generation family names. So far I haven't found a union of a COOK and a BIBB or a TUCKER and a BIBB, but I have found BIBB folks in Barren and Green County Census lists and even back in the previous census lists of Virginia, where I know my Cook and Tucker lines were before Kentucky. If anyone has information about any possibility of the Bibb-Cook or Bibb-Tucker connection, please get back to me at my email address. Thanks! Kate Beaugrand Cook KB_cook@msn.com
