Kam, Hi, I live in Cave City, Ky (Barren Co.) which neighbors Hart Co. and read your message you sent asking about your GG Grandfather, Stokely Turner. Have you gotten any response from anyone? I don't have a copy of the 1850 Hart Census, but I do have the 1860, 1880 & 1900. In the 1860 I found this data that should interest you: G. W. TURNER 49M Farmer VA Mary A. 41F KY Sarah J. 17F KY Susan 11F KY Stokely 9M KY Mary E. 7F KY Elijah D. 4M KY Polly F. 2F KY Then in 1880 I found that the previous G.W. Turner was probably George W. TURNER. He is listed as 70 yrs. old and a farmer born in VA & his parents were born in VA. His wife, Mary A. age 63 was born in KY and her parents were born in VA. One child is listed with them, Margarett A. age 19 Also in the same 1880 Census, I found this data on Stokley Turner: TURNER Stokley G. 35 Farmer KY Sophronia 34 wife Joseph T. 14 son James H. 12 son Martha A. 10 dau Robert L. 7 son Stokly 5 son Sarah F. 3 dau Calvin I. 1 son Ragsdale Elvira J. 21 ward Servant I hope this helps you a little bit.
