Last year, on one of the lists, I had made the suggestion that a jar with your information & relation to an ancestor be attached to the headstone with your name, phone #, email address, etc. This is what one caretaker suggested: "As caretaker for a cemetery, I know that anything glass is frowned on. String trimmers do wonders for them! I would recommend using a zip-lock bag which can be fastened to the marker, attached to floral displays or put under stone saddles holding flowers -- anything that will secure the bag. It's worked for us!! We left a bag with our name, address and phone number and an explanation of what we were doing on a stone a week before Mother's Day.
