The reason I know this for sure is two-fold: 1) Birth Certificate for John S. BROCK (Springer) is to John BROCK and Maudie CHADWICK. 2) Georgia "Cissy" Nantz was one of Maudie's step-daughters listed in Julia's obit ... Georgia was John BROCK's daughter born to him and his first wife. So the obit I sent you is definitely the one who married John BROCK and was the mother of Springer BROCK. I'm not sure about her birth year, since she's definitely not in my line. I'll try to look at censuses I have and see what age is listed for her there ... although that wasn't always very accurate.
