JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON FANNIE MOORE FROM THE XENIA (OH) DAILY GAZETTE 11/22/08 Fannie Brown Moore, 94, of Xenia, OH passed away November 21, 2008, at Hospitality Home East (Xenia, OH). She was born March 25, 1914, in Harlan County, KY, the daughter of Samuel R. and Sarah Creech Brown. She is survived by a daughter, Betty A. Shank, Xenia, OH and a son and daughter-in-law, C. Edward (Hannah) Moore, Greenfield, OH, four grandchildren, Rick (Penny) Whalin, Terri (Jim) Bowermeister, Steven (Beth) Moore and Sondra Moore, five great-grandchildren, Rachel Jenks, Lauren Whalin, Abbie Whalin, Carrie Whalin and Elizabeth Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Moore, May 15, 1995, a daughter, Mary June Whalin and four sisters and six brothers, Mossie Brown, Myrtle Slagle, Maude Taylor, and Lily Moore, Finley Brown, Denver Brown, Marvin Brown, Howard Brown, Frank Brown, and Curtis Brown. She was the last of her immediate family. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Valley ! View Memorial Gardens.
