Leander was born circa 1831/32 in TN; Mary "may" be a second wife to James ... not sure. She was born circa 1831/32 as well. Leander and Mary are found in the 1870 Campbell Co., TN census with James and his siblings (Cyntha; John; and William). I have quite a bit of information on William because they lived in Newcomb (near Jellico) and their family was very close with my dad's family. Cyntha married in 1871 in Campbell Co., TN to a William IVEY. As the IVEY line is quite difficult to track because there were SO MANY OF THEM, I'm not sure if this William is any relation to my Sarah Elizabeth IVEY or not.
