She was 95 when she died at Knox County General Hospital in Barbourville, KY. At that time, she was a widow of Martin V. Baker. Funeral services were held at the Pine Mountain Church of God at Bledsoe. Burial took place in the Kermit Creech Cemetery in Bledsoe. The obituary was dated May 3, 1989 in the HARLAN DAILY ENTERPRISE. It stated she died "Monday", so whatever that date might have been in 1989.
