RESPONSE: Hi, I really have not done much of any research on this family. George CRIDER and his marriages are confusing to me at best. I'm sure there is someone else out there with much more information than I have. From annotated census books, it is shown that the marriages for George CRIDER were: lst marriage - - Elizabeth BAILEY - - ? (at some point before 1839 or so) 2nd marriage - - Susan HARRIS - 1843 in HC 3rd marriage - - Mary FARLER/FARLEY - - 1856 in HC So, one would think then that Elizabeth BAILEY died before 1843 and perhaps with the birth of her 2nd child but I have no proof of that . 1850 Harlan Co., KY Dwelling 732 CRIDER, George (W.), 30, b.
