JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON BERT GUERRA JR FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 1/13/09 Reverend Bert Guerra, Jr. Age 89, a resident of Miamisburg, OH passed away on January 10, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Bert was born on February 8, 1919 to the late Bert and Lucy Guerra-Murphy in Louellen, KY. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Bert Guerra III, a granddaughter Michelle Blevins-Scearce, a son-in-law John Holtgreven Jr., three brothers and two sisters. Bert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Blanche (Moore) Guerra, daughters Wanda (James) Kidd, Barbara Holtgreven, Norma Barbee, a son Harold (Carolyn) Guerra, grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Greene, John Holtgreven III, and Krista Neeley, also by ten great grandchildren, a brother, Alonzo Guerra and many other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held on January 15, 2009 at 1 p.m. from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, Miamisburg with Pastor Tom Vorhis officiating. Burial at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on January 14, 2009 f! rom 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Reverend Bert Guerra Jr.'s memory.
