The Myrtle Stewart Grills in the obit below is my great-aunt Myrtle Grills. She may not have not born in Harlan County (despite the obit saying she was a Harlan County native). She always told me she was born "across the mountain" in Virginia in Lee County (it is early and I am not totally coherent, but I believe the name was St. Charles, VA) . She used to hike across the mountain with the kids in tow to visit her family. Now her one son, GB, was actually named Green Berry so there could be a connection. Aunt Myrtle married Henry Grills who was the brother of my grandmother Ellen Grills. I'll try to think of what else I know or can find in my records. I do have some pics of her I could scan and send to folks.
