I am going to assume you are new at family research. Next time remember to include some dates (even if approximate) with your query. Otherwise, it becomes quite difficult to establish a timeline on these queries. You don't say when or where you were born so I have not attempted to ascertain that. There are several Charles/Ambroses and there are several Carl D. HENSLEYs. If you don't have any genealogy software, I would highly suggest you run out and get somewhere Family Treemaker (which I use) or some other software so that you can begin with yourself, your spous, your childen, your parents, your grandparents and all of their respective siblings and spouses along the way. From there you can document and work yourself backwards. I spent a bit of time researching and it would appear your family history looks like this. Charles Ambrose HENSLEY was born 2-15-1899 in Red Lick, Madison Co., KY and he died June 2, 1985 in Clay Co., KY. In September on the 27th of 1921 in Clay Co., KY, he married to Zuby MUNCY who was born March 16, 1908. Zuby's SSDI shows she was a resident of Whitley Co., KY at the end of her life on April 5, 1998 but she died in Clay Co, KY. She was 90 years of age at her death. There are probably more children than this but these are those I found on the KBI: HENSLEY, Thelma V. b. 4-16-1923 in Perry Co., KY HENSLEY, Russell b. 3-2-1927 in Perry Co., KY HENSLEY, Mary L. b. Also, you should make your public postings in the county where your ancestors were the majority of the time. I don't know what connection there is to Harlan Co., KY. I did notice that you ADDED your query to a 10 year old query placed by another person. Have you attempted to also reach either one of them. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA John E.
