The only James Turner I found about that age that wasn't married was a James H. Turner living as a boarder in the houshold of William C. Turner born 1869 and Celia Creech born 1870 in Harlan County, They had three little girls and a servant named Gilla Dean and this boarder James H. Turner. I found a death certificate for a James H. Turner in Harlan County. He was a miner born 6 Jun 1876 died in 14 Mar 1951 so he could be the same one. I would be willing to send these two documents if you think they are the right James Turner .His parents were Joe Turner and Mary Smith and I don't have these Turners in my files. The informant was Mrs. Delora Turner either his wife or daughter.
