He spent some time in prison for killing someone. He married Sarah Jones. I think the second James is son of Mose A. Turner who is the son of John N. and Emily Jane Farley Turner. He married a Jenny D. All of these Turners were from Harlan County and moved to Lewis County, Washington in about 1900 or so. I didn't see any James married to a Mandy or Amanda in the Harlan County marriages or in my files.
