Looks like this is the Marcus GUTHRIE with a wife, Alice, in Alabama in 1910: Walker County, Alabama Dwelling 31-31 GUTHRIE, Marcus N., age 29, head, mar. 1, mar. 8 yrs, b. AL; parents b. AL - coal miner . .Alice A., 24, wife, mar. 8 yrs, mar. 1, 4 born; 4 living, b. AL; parents b. TN . .Myrtle M., 6, dau, b. AL . .Beula B., 4, dau, b. AL . .Willie O., 3, son, b. AL . .Gertie , dau., 1 yr, 10 months, b. AL Next to him is: Dwelling 32-32 GUTHRIE, James A., head, 30, mar. 1, mar. 11 yrs, with a wife, Lou E. and a bunch of kids. James A. works in the coal mines and is also from AL; with parents b. AL Assuming he was 86 yrs of age as listed on the KDI, I realize this doesn't match up with his (Marcus Newton's age) on the 1910 and on his death cert.
