JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON EMMETT BOBBITT JR FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 11/15/08 Emmett Bobbittm Jr. Age 84 of Dayton, OH departed this life November 11, 2008. He was a native of Lynch, KY and had resided in Dayton over 60 years. A member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church and a retiree of the Dayton YMCA with 36 years of service. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brownell M. Bobbitt, son, Michael Y. and three sisters. Survivors include his children, Emmett III, Dayton, OH, Linda M. Dunson, Atlanta, GA, William M. (Diana), Seattle, WA, Tyler L., Los Angeles, CA, Dwight A. (Debra), Dallas, TX, Sherri A. (Darryl) Kemper, Cincinnati, OH, Darwin W., Bowie, MD, Derrick W. (Robin) Bobbitt, Cincinnati; three sisters, Marie Sweat and Emma Smith (his twin) both of Lynch, KY and Malvie Gist, Milwaukee, WI; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Alice Lucille Jones. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., November 18, 2008 at Phillips Temp! le C.M.E. Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs Rd., Dayton. Pastor James E. Washington, officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Services Respectfully Rendered by H. H.
