The family story is that Malinda is buried at the Sandlick Cemetary in Whitesburg. That may or may not be due to the fact that Henry, her husband was buried there in 1950. I am not familiar with the customs in Kentucky during that time. Could family members just go to the cemetary and bury their loved ones? Or would that typically have been reserved for those buried in family cemetaries? I will try to find out about the Harlan funeral home. Thanks for your help.
