May 1840 in Harlan Co., KY; d. 7 Mar 1923. He mar. (1) 29 Jan 1857 to Nancy METCALF. He married (2) Mar 4 1876 to Cordelia Catherine BREWER, dau. of Jeremiah BREWER. Cordelia was b. Mar 1855. And, he marr. (3) 23 Jan 1908 to Elizabeth BEGLEY. There were a large number of children I have born from the first two wifes. Hiram shows up as born abt. May 1877 per the research of Lillian BROUGHTON CREECH in her "CREECH Lineage" book. However, he is a 5 year old on the 1880 Fed. Census. On the 1880 Harlan Co. Fed. Mar 1895 The transcription on the 1910 harlan Co. census book I have is REALLY garbled; however, this would appear to be Hiram: Dwelling 55 CREECH, Harmon T., 30,mar 1, mar. 4 yrs b. kY; parents b. KY . .Cassie, wife, 24, mar. 1, mar. 4 yrs, 2 born; 2 living, b. kY; parents b. KY . . Hage, son, 2, b. kY (I assume this is Hayes) . .Victoria, dau, 1, b. KY On the 1930 Harlan census: Dwelling 115-114 CREECH, Cassie, 42, "widow", b. KY . .Haze, 22, son, b. KY - sawmill laborer . .Victory, 21, dau, KY - boarding house . . Clarence, 19, son, b. KY - lumberyard labor (died 8-1980 in HC KY) . .Grace, 18, dau, b. KY . .Murph, 15,son, KY; railroad laborer (died of GSW on 11-17-1940) . .Edna, 10, dau, b. KY . .Thelma, 7, dau, b. KY (prob. her husband, Hiram, died around 1923 - give or take.) On Hayes CREECH death cert, he died in Harlan Co. on 9-7-1932 when he was 24 yrs and some months old. His parents were listed as: Hiram CREECH and Cassie LEWIS. Mrs. Cassie CREECH was the informant. Cause of death was: endocarditis and secondary to abcessed teeth.
