I am assuming he recognized this child as his. If so, it is possible (depending upon who was in charge of writing it) that she might have been mentioned. He didn't die all that long ago. I would order the death cert from the information I have already given to you. That was 4-17-1986 in Whitley Co., KY . He resided at Corbin, KY. You might even try calling direct to several of the mortuaries there in Corbin to see if anyone has any old records on him. Also, you should make a posting to the Whitley Co.Message Board to ask which newspaper/s would have likely carried an Obit. Remember, in Corbin, and depending upon which part of the city you lived in, three counties are involved. Knox, Laurel and Whitley are all in one part or the other of Corbin.
