I was born in Harlan. I also am searching for genealogical records for the Cosmah family. My dad was Emanuel L Cosmah (born 1916). His dad was Panaiotis Cosmas (Pete Cosmah) who arrived at Ellis Island from Tenedos Greece in 1905. Pete married Paralee Andrews (from Fannin County Texas) sometime between 1905 and 1908; they lived in Tinsley (Bell County KY). Both Pete and Paralee Cosmah are probably buried near Tinsley, but I haven't found cemetery records for either one. Paralee was half Cherokee; she was born in 1886 and died in 1921.
