Samuel moved to Harlan Co KY before 1826 (20 Nov 1826 he conveyed land in Lee Co VA DBk 5, 378, no wife signed with him. He apparently returned to Lee Co prior to 1834 as he and his wife Mary of Lee Co conveyed land DBk 6, 418 he returned to KY before 1835. He married in Scott Co VA, by James Kerr 7 Nov 1842, Mary Ann Jones M Bk 1 p. 76
