I will tell you that I was unable to pull Ruth or Beatrice RAY on the 1920 or 1930 Fed. Census in KY in one of the nearby counties to Knox Co. I also was unable to locate any more births for this Ruth HENDRICK in KY in Knox or some of the surrounding counties. You can order that birth record from the State of KY and perhaps it will yield additional information plus the name of the father. Knox is fairly close to Harlan, being next door to Bell Co. which is next to Harlan Co. WARREN is a big surname in Knox Co.; therefore, there most probably was or still is a small community by that name.
