Aley is listed as grandson of Elizabeth (Howard), widow of George Washington Ledford, probably correct. Aley is still living with Wm. and Martha in 1910 at Buckeye, Garrard Co, Ky, listed as Nephew, which is probably correct. Was Aley the son of James, Wm's brother? Or one of Wm's sisters, who elected to keep the Ledford name? Any help greatly appreciated!
