    3. Here are some additional Amburgey Obits. I think this is all the Amburgey Obits I have, but I'm sure many of the remaining obits must have some Amburgey women who married into the other lines. Phyllis The obit for Causetta Amburgey is in addition to the one I posted yesterday, but the info is a little different. Also, I posted the obit for Arnon Amburgey yesterday, his wife Malvery Mullins Amburgey is below. Causetta Casebolt Amburgey Causetta Casebolt Amburgey of Mousie, Ky., died on Saturday, Dec. 14, 1985 at the Knott County Health Care Center, Hindman. Causetta was born October 13, 1894, the daughter of the late Riley and Helen Nickles Casebolt. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, Alex Amburgey; and one son, James Amburgey. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy L. Amburgey of Flemingsburg; seven sons, Edward of Ashland, Bill of Prestonsburg, Home of Morehead, Lawrence M. of Newport News, Va., Shelly R. of New Madison, Ohio, Irvin and Clyde O., both of Lima, Ohio; one sister, Margaret C. Slone of Dema; one brother Austin Casebolt of Prestonsburg; also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Knott Funeral Home Chapel, Hindman, with Rev. J.S. Bell officiating. Burial followed in the Amburgey Family Cemetery, Mousie. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews. Knott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Wiley Carl Amburgey Wiley Carl Amburgey, age 47, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Monday, May 9, 1983, at Highlands Baptist Hospital in Louisville. He was born April 16, 1936 to Woodrow and Arminta Amburgey. He is survived by his wife, Joan Amburgey; two sons, Timothy W. Amburgy and Eric K. Amburgey, both of Colorado; one daughter, Libby Amburgey of Louisville; and four sisters, Geraldine Hopkins and Ann Darnley of Florida, Ruth Epperson of Virginia; and Peggy Pratt of London. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. Burial was made in the Amburgey Cemetery, Mallie. Hindman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Malvery Mullins Amburgey Malvery Mullins Amburgey, age 71, of Litt Carr, Ky., passed away Oct. 31, 1984, at Hazard ARH. She was born July 19, 1913, the daughter of Wm. Letcher Mullins and Marinda Nickles. She is survived by her husband, Arnon Amburgey; two brothers, Chester Mullins of Sassafras and George Mullins of Hindman; three sisters, Eva Engle of Brinkley, Eliza Young of Brinkley, and Alta Slone of Mitchell, Ind. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at Little Dove Regular Baptist Church at Sassafras, with Rev. John Preece, I.D. Back, Ivan J. Amburgey officiating. Burial followed n the Amburgey Cemetery at Litt Carr. Hindman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Cora Amburgey Cora Amburgey, age 82, died Dec. 28, 1985 at Whitesburg ARH, Whitesburg. She was born July 15, 1903, the daughter of Mose Everage and Clara Parks Everage. She was a member of the Ball Branch Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Ellis Amburgey of Medway, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Genell Pratt of Leburn, Fern Watts of Hindman, Fairie Watts of Miamisburg, Ohio; two brothers, Kermit Everage of Amburgey, Everett Everage of Salem, Ind.; three sisters, Ruth Vanover of Amburgey, Ruby Dixon of Miamisburgh, Ohio, Nora Amburgey of Amburgey; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at Ball Branch Regular Baptist Church, Mousie, with Rev. Berton Howard, Woody Pack, Ralph Howard and Roger Hicks officiating. Burial followed in the Madden Cemetery, Amburgey. Hindman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. John H. Amburgey John H. Amburgey, age 90, of Mallie, Ky., died Friday, Jan. 20, 1984 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born Nov. 28, 1893, a son of Hiram and Dicie Adams Amburgey. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Regular Baptist Church. He is survived by four sons, Willis Amburgey of Litt Carr, Oscar Amburgey of Mallie, Guy Amburgey of Dalgren, Va., and Bob Amburgey of Mallie; six daughters, Violet Tolliver of Litt Carr, Alta Anderson of Sassafras, Tilda Mae Wyatt of Seaford, Va., Opal Collins of Gallipolis, Ohio, Burnett Hall of Detroit, Mich., and Geraldine Jent of Johnson City, Tenn.; 32 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was proceed in death by one daughter, Edna Franklin, in 1956. Services were held in the Old Carr Regular Baptist Church on Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. with Alonzo Watts and others officiating. Burial followed in the Carr Fork Cemetery. Hindman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Franklin D. Amburgy Franklin D. Amburgy, age 40, of Halo, Ky., passed away Oct. 8, 1983, in Melvin, as a result of an auto accident. He was born March 23, 1943, in Floyd County, a son of Lawrence and Artie Thornsberry Amburgy, Bypro. He was a truck driver for Kentucky Oil and Refinerey and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Boshears Amburgy; two daughters, Tammy Amburgy and Laura Amburgy, both at home; five brothers, Ezra Amburgey of New Lebanon, Ohio, Clifford Amburgy of Westland, Mich., Marvin Amburgy of Pineville, Kenneth Paul Amburgy of Searsy, Ark., David Amburgy of Prestonsburg; two half-brothers, Coshel Hall of Leburn and Claude Hall of Hindman; five sisters, Loretta Keibler of Warren, Mich., Imogene Elders, Miss Marcella Amburgy and Shirlene Skaggs, all of Brandenburg, Judy Amburgy of Bypro; three half-sisters, Jewell Hall Hunter of Mousie, Sandy Hall Owens of Garner, and Patsy Hall Perkins of Hindman; and one grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.'s John Adams and Randy Turner Officiating. Burial was made in the Buckingham Cemetery, Buckingham, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin. Active pallbearers were Levi Johnson Jr., Eddie Hall, Homer Johnson, Marvin Little, Junior Anderson, Terry Akers, Philip Cook, Louie Cook, Quincy Cook, Kenneth King, Norman Cook, Jackie Hall, Tudor Hall and Randy Akers.
