But you are probably referring to Ambrose Jarvis ( 1892-1964) who worked at Benham for 38 years. Ambrose and Olliff (Baxter) Jarvis had a daughter Goldie born in 1914 that married George Perkins. Goldie Perkins was my fifth grade teacher at Benham in the late 40's.--Janette Nolan
