    3. Hi, I'm Stacey (Cox) Wells and I'm researching primarily the Cox lines. The only info I have is back to my great-grandfather, Charles Wesley Cox. I don't even know much about him. He was married to Rosa (Hendrickson?) and he was killed in the late 20's in Harlan county, Ky. There was a huge trial held over the murder, and it's rumored that his wife Rosa killed him, but her brother Hershel went to prison over it. I can find no record of his death or this trial. ???? And I have nothing about his parents or anything else about him. That's my main brick wall. Another major brick wall, and I doubt I'll ever get around it, is my grandfather, James Stewart. His mother's name was Sally Stewart and according to rumor, she was never married, however I found her on a census as a widow. This comes as a surprise to my mother, who had never heard that. James was married to Dora Thomas Stewart and he was one of Sally's 5 children, the other 4 being Rhoda, Will, Addie and Margaret. Rhoda married Blaine Sergeant (sp>) and Margaret married ?? Stepp. Will was killed as a yong man and Addie died in childhood. That's about it as far as brick walls. I sure would love to more about them. Thanks, Stacey Cox Wells Kiezza@aol.com wrote: Hi Everyone: It's about time we had a roll call. First if anyone wants to unsubscribe before, the posts start, please do. Some folks don't like the increase of e-mail. Let us know who you are, who you are researching and any brick walls you may have encountered searching for your family roots. Thanks to all and good luck. Elva --------------------------------- Yahoo! Photos Got holiday prints? See all the ways to get quality prints in your hands ASAP.
