I am trying to gather information on my grandparents parents and beyond. My paternal grandfather is Ewell Prince, Im looking for information on his family. He married Anne Osborne, they lived at Grays Knob, he was a blacksmith. My maternal grandparents are Shelby Collins and Joey Allen. They lived at Cranks Creek and Crummies. He worked in the mine at Crummies. Both dear grandfathers died of Black Lung. God Bless coal miners and God Bless organized Labor unions. Does anyone know anything a bout the coal miners stamp which was being advocated for by the UMW? I tried contacted the union directly but didn't get a response.
