Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3AB.2ACI/6951 Message Board Post: My father is Cecil Lee Morris, born Dec. 12 1936 in Harlan Co. to Bonnie Foutch (Fouch) Morris and Melvin Morris, my father passed away on July 8th of this year. I don't know anything at all about the Morris family, and very little about the Foutch/Akemon side. I know that there are several ways that Akemon is spelled. My great grandmother was Vesta Akemon and my great grandfather was Alex or Alec Foutch. If anyone knows anything about any of the histories of these families I'd appreciate you contacting me. I am especially interested in the Morris side, Melvin again, was my dad's dad. I know that Melvin has a sister named Zelma, and I think a brother named Bill, but Melvin himself died in January 1987 and is buried in the willowview cemetary in Dayton Ohio, and I have no other info on this family. My father was raised by his step father, Orville Myers who died in 2002 and is buried in the same cemetary as Melvin. I know that my dad grew up in what he called "Foutch Holler"! and was friend with the Lloyd family, Stewart family and Holcomb family please help me if you can. Sincerely, Lisa Morris-Fitch
