Hello, friends. My great-great grandfather NIMROD DAWSON was born 1778 Cumberland River, VA. He was supposedly a doctor. He died 20 Dec. 1856 in Harlan Co., KY. In a county history book it is mentioned that Nimrod's father's name was WILLIAMS. (Don't know if the "S" is a misprint). I'm seeking information about WILLIAM(S) DAWSON, father of NIMROD DAWSON.
