(D.C.) in the early 1800s on a court document, and am trying to determine the begin and end dates of his service as same. Apparently there are two John Noe's, father and son, with their being born c1760 and c1793 respectively. I found a list of sheriffs of Harlan Co. on the Genweb site, but cannot find a list of court clerks of either the county or circuit courts. Can anyone direct me to such a list or know enough about this to provide an answer? Please note that I am not related to the Noe family and have no information on them other than what I found on World Connect.
