He married Maude Standifer (too?) and their daughter was Gladys Melton b Nov 24 1915 who married Brent Wentworth Boggs b Nov 28 1904 d Nov 6 1987. I also am interested in who Charlotte Lewis is. Who are her parents? John C Melton's parents? My Lewis-Melton connection is Catherine Elizabeth Lewis b May 17 1866 d Aug 21 1925. She was the daughter of my James Jarrett Lewis b Sept 13 1821 d May 2 1906 and Malinda Cornett b July 2 1826 d Feb 17 1907 She married William M Melton b abt 1855 d 1937.
