    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3AB.2ACI/6897.1.1.1.1.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello, KY did not begin a formalized system for recording births until 1911; therefore, it is doubtful if there is any birth record available for your Onie GIBSON born in 1905. It "could" be there is something that was reconstructed but I would not know about that. If you are absolutely adamant about finding out, then you probably are going to have to spend $27 to get his Soc. Sec. Application from the SS Administration. It will provide his parents' names and he would have had to provide some proof of other letters supporting his claim. I previously gave you that information from the SSDI. Since he is listed as a nephew of William E. GIBSON and wife, Eliza DOZIER on the 1910 Knox Co., KY Fed. Census, would could make the assumption that Onie, age 14, at that point was either the son of William E. GIBSON's brother or unmarried sister. A brother, Madison, 48 and a widow is listed with him on that census, along with Thomas DOZIER, his father-in-law. In the next dwelling is a Floid GIBSON with wife, Sudie and children. In the 1900 Knox, William and Eliza are married 6 years with no children. On the 1910, William E. and Eliza have been married 15 years and it states she has had no children. However, an Ethel, a niece, age 3 is living with them. Here is their marriage record: Knox Co. Marriage Book V Page 273 June 5, 1894 Wm. And, I don't understand the Madison GIBSON in William's household as of the 1910. As you move backwards to the 1880 Knox Co., it "appears" to be that this is William 's parents: Dwelling 48-48 GIBSON, Henry, 26, b. TN; parents b. TN . .Mary A., 21, b. TN; parents b. TN .
