I'm the great-grandson of George King, brother of Addie King Ledford, and son of Ewell King and Mary Skidmore. About the only information I found was in John Egerton's book "Generations." For a guy that was the sheriff of Harlan County for 4 years and a US marshal, there sure aren't many documents on him. I was just wondering if you all knew anything yourselves about the Kings or if you knew where I could get some more info.
