Does anyone know where Frog Level in Harlan Co KY is? Or was? My dad said his school Baxter School was across Frog Level. Is there any pictures of the Baxter School? I have one of Highbank. RESPONSE: Hi, I just happened to notice this exchange of information. I have a family connection to this family and to Albert SCOTT. Albert b. 1888 had (among several others) a brother, Elijah SCOTT b. 1884. This Elijah SCOTT married in 1904 in Harlan Co., KY my grandmother's sister, Fannie CREECH . Fannie CREECH was the dau. of John Major CREECH and Deborah Lynn SERGENT CREECH (my maternal g-grandparents. I also have that Albert SCOTT had an earlier marriage to Sarah Alice BROUGHTON. I know the vicinity of which it lays but I woould like to know where the home was. I know the church Lewis built was at meeting house branch at Callaway (this would be about the 13 mile marker).I know where Lewis's original headstone marker was located and it was within a few feet of the Meeting House Branch. In the histories of early Bell county, some of the authors say the Lewis Green Homestead is now part of the Parson's farm. Anyoe know anything about that. His last name was spelled Radkovich. This man died a number of years ago here in Hamilton, Ohio. I think he actually lived in a small place called Trenton, Ohio next to Hamilton, Ohio. His father was one of the men who came over on the boat to work in the Coal Mines at Lynch, KY. I've heard this guy talk about it years ago.
