The Whitaker children that you mentioned --Jesse E was born 31 Oct 1918 in Pulaski Co and Nona was born 16 Feb 1922 in Rockcastle Co. Ida Ethel Mize who married J. W. Phelps had children all born in HC from 1925 through 1950. John W. Phelps and Ida Mize Phelps are both buried in Resthaven Cem ( John--29 Oct 1907- 12 May 1981. Ida E. 9 Feb 1911 --25 Mch 1976) If Ida was born in 1911--I don't believe she would be having cvhildren in 1918. I believe these are 2 different Ida Mize women.---Janette

There is a small church cemetery (Salem ) where all the Smith's from this line are buried. Aldridge is also buried here. My great-grandfather was Samuel S. Smith.
