Do you know where they lived - i.e. county? I have found a Nancy Estep, daughter of William & Joanna Wilson who married Jacob Griffith 28 Mar 1860/63. They lived in Harlan County and are on the 1870 census. Sometimes you can find a "family group" that can give you a clue. Let me know. I will see if there is any information in the Thomas Estep Sr. books. Annie in Minnesota

If they moved out to WA together, had a son, and later divorced sometime before 1934, then I could accept that. I've heard rumors that Nana had a half-brother in the Seattle area, even though we've never bothered to contact him. (Communication's not my family's forte.)

In any case, as I understand it your relative was born or at least died in Georgia. So far as I know, my husband's people were from Campbell Co. and Grainger Co., etc., Tennessee. I have no knowledge of any COLLINS from Georgia. Sorry. My best advice to you is to make a NEW posting to the Message Board in the county in GA where they were located. Good luck in your search. Therefore, it is really almost impossible to know where to begin to look. Why don't you return to your original query and post a response to it. In that response, let us know at least approx. how old they were, when they died and where. WHO were Ida MIZE's parents? These children you mention, were they born in KY and if so, when EVEN IF APPOX. You must have some idea of approx. when there could have been a remarried to this Mr. PHELPS. What relationship are these folks to you? Joyce Taylor Collins
