John Langford--before he passed away- was doing a pretty good job of recording and cleaning some of them, but since his death I don't know of anyone who is working on them. I don't know much about the cemetery on Liggett St in Wallins, but I sent your question on to Kathryn Trail, who at one time lived in Wallins and recorded a lot of the cemteries there. She might be able to answer that question. Some of the families listed at the Sang Branch Cem (Ky King Cem) were Scott, Howard, Hensley, Helton, Shackleford,Caldwell, Spurlock and others.--Janette

The old Creech and New Creech cemeteries were so covered in weeds you could hardly see anything. The same thing for the Masonic Cemetery. I was on Ligget St and went to the Private Blanton cemetery. Is this the J.K. Borne Cemetery and the name has been changed?? I couldn't get up to the Sang Branch Cemetery. Does anyone know what families are buried there? Thanks CSB

Your Elizabeth could possibly be one of those, as in this cemetery, there is John M. Napier, Jr., born 10-4-1919, died 1-28-04, and Washington Napier, born 10-4-1919 and died 2-4-1920 (these are according to headstones), this may be something to go on. I believe that your John and Elizabeth are listed in 1910 census as John, age 53, and Eliza, age 57, in the household of Doyle and Bestan Irvin (their daughter), and next door to Daniel Garrett. Hope this helps.
