I have a death certificate for Sallie Middleton that states: Sallie Middleton born August 10, 1841, died Oct. 2, 1919. 78 years. Mother Sucie Sergent. Father James Turner. Informent Lige Middleton Baxter ky. Sallie Middleton was married to Benjamin Middleton born 1827, died July 16, 1911, the son of Walter Middleton and Sally Turner Middleton. There children were: David, Ransom, James, William, Calvin, Fannie, lucy, and Elijah. All records that I have explored state that Sallie was a Blevins, daughter of James T. Blevins. So, was she a daughter of Blevins or James Turner? Who is Susie Sergent listed as Mother? Could Sallie Blevins Middleton actually be a Turner that first married a Blevins, and then married Benjamin Middleton?

John C. I have a copy of this death certificate, and since it reads that John was widowed, I think he must be 60 years old. They just put down the wrong birth date. I read it as died in the fam House and the Hart dropsy probably is a mispelling of HEART. I think the informant was Charilty Russell. I could find nothing on a Will Pace and ?? wife??? She married Isaac Simpson, my great great great grandfather. Some say that Mary Polly was the daughter of Terry Melton. But I do not know this for sure.

Fed. Census. So far as I know, the answer would be : no where. If , however, you mean where can you view it or purchase it or rent it, my answer would be different. You could rent the reel from your local LDS Family History Center for a month for around $3. You could access it through paid subscriptions to Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com. Here's the info from a quick look at ancestry. Since her SS card was issued TN, I included the only Janie Qualls in the TN census for 1930, she didn't show up in KY for 1930. QUALLS shows he died 1-26-1979 at the age of 57 years; Vol. 2, Cert 614 in Harlan Co., KY. Perhaps if he parents are listed on his death cert, that would clear that up.
