She is survied by her father, Sylvester Slone of Pippa Passes; her mother, Phebia Slone of Pippa Passes; her husband Paschal Reynolds of Lima, Ohio; one daughter, Sandra Lynn Slone of Wapakoneta, Ohio; two brothers, Bethel Slone of St. Mary's, Ohio, Raffie Slone of Carrie; eight sisters, Pearl Maggard of Hollybush. Goldia Weghorst of Portsmouth, Ohio, Sylvia Kohlhorst of Lima, Ohio, Betty Stebleton of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Ruby Slone of Garrett, Ind., Ruth Pfefferkorn of Asborn, Ind., Rita Mosley of Lima, Ohio, Avenelle Slone of Leburn; four grandchildren; host of friends and relatives. Well, after a long delay, I am back to transcribing some old obits that I've had as well as a couple of more recent ones. Phyllis The obits for today are: Woman, 73 Is Heart Victim Mrs. Short Here With Daughter Mrs. Sallie Short, 73, who had been staying the past few weeks with a daughter, Mrs. Marie Slone, at Slone's Nursing Home here, died there at 9:40 a.m. Saturday. Her death was attributed to a heart attack. Most of her life was spent at Hindman, Ky., but she had resided at Dayton, Ohio, for eight years before coming here. Born at Hindman, Ky., Jan. 22, 1897, she was the daughter of Wesley and Polly Ann Campbell Sparkman. She was married to Clabe Short, who died in 1950. She is survived by 11 children, Claude Short, Commodore Short and Mrs. Bingus (Dorcas) Pigman, all of Columbus, Ohio, Marion Short and Mrs. Leroy (Polly Ann) Pigman, both of Dayton, Ohio, Berlin Short and Mrs. Carlos (Martha) Amburgey, both of Hindman, Ky., Wesley Short, R.R. 6, Greensburg; Linzy Short, Sunman, Mrs. Earl (Mazeda) Miller, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. John (Marie) Slone, R.R. 4, Greensburg. I don't know much on James Blevins, but I wish I could find out who his parents are, and etc. I think he was born in Virginia, but it is possible he was born in HC Kentucky too.

Survivors include a nephew, Don Halcomb and wife, Helen, Harlan; great-nephews: Tommy Halcomb and wife, Tracy, California; and Jimmy Wayne Halcomb, Oklahoma; great-nieces: Donna Court and husband, Charles, Texas; Sherri Auld and husband, Brady, Arkansas; Mary Fee and husband Greg, Tennessee; and Judy Caudle and husband, Bob, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Ada Davidson, London; and two very special friends: Wanda Ramsey and Carol Jones. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rich Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Farmer, the Rev. Joe Howard and the Rev. Joshua Hensley officiating. Burial will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brock, Wayne Ramsey and Jim Ball.
