    1. Ken Stepp/Stapp Family
    2. Hi, Some time ago, about 2001, I posted an inquiry for anyone who had information about a Kenneth Stepp that had a leg injured in a mining accident, say in the 1940's and eventually died of bone cancer at a relatively young age. He is buried in a cemetery on a hill that can be seen from a 4 lane highway that connects US 23 to, I believe,Rt. 119. He is buried within 6 miles or so of the courthouse of Martin County, Ky. There is a young Mills (maiden name????) lady that works at a motel lives close to this cemetery. His son, Kenneth Stepp, Jr. born ~1948, contacted me and we had just one e-mail exchange and the communication stopped. I found out later that he had passed away in 2002. It's important that I get back into contact with this family somehow. My son, who is the grandson of the older Kenneth Stepp, is disabled with a bone disease and I wish to exchange information with the family concerning such health matters. If you are a member of this family or have knowledge about this family, PLEASE CONTACT ME. Thanks Fred _Watts4550@aol.com_ (mailto:Watts4550@aol.com)

    2. Sherry
    3. On the 1870 Harlan County Census are two William Bull's. One in the household of Brittain Bull and one in the household of Joseph Pittman. The death certificate for William Bull says his father was Jesse Bull and Margaret Pittman. Does this mean that Brittain Bull is not Jesse Brittain Bull? (*^%%^*&)(*)(* In other words, if Brittain Bull is Jesse Brittain Bull and the father of my William Bull then why is a William Bull in each household with different states of birth and one listed as 6 and the other as 9? Am I making any sense? Sherry

When I was a young teenager on Pucketts Creek there was a "Little" Bill Howard that got drunk and passed out on the Railroad Tracks at Mill Creek. A train ran over him and cut off both of his legs. This happened about one mile from where I lived at the time. I was there when they picked Little Bill up and put him in the Ambulance & took him to the hospital. After Little Bill got out of the Hospital they had fitted some type of a board with wheels on it to where Little Bill would somehow strap it on and motivate all around the area of Pathfork. He lived a number of years after the accident. As for who his family was. I don't remember. I'm sure I knew them as this was a small place. There were a lot of Howards that lived in that area.
