Hello all! Lucy Ann Brock born abt 1867 of harlan County was married to a Henderson Green, I think of Bell county. I believe I am descendent of Lucy Brock and Henderson Green. I trying to confirm if the Henderson Green that Lucy Brock married is the son of Henderson Green Sr b. about 1819 & elizabeth parsons. Someone in my family said Lucy Ann Brock's husband's name was Sam, but maybe that was just what he was called, but his real name is henderson My maiden name is Carrie Green. It is the correct one and he was my father. He and Flora were never married. They lived together for a short period but he left when the ex-husband became threatening. This is the story I got. They had talked of marriage, but as far as I know, it had more to do with the ex-husband than the children Flora had. He did leave food on the porch for her and the children. They met at a restaurant where she worked near Manchester Ky. People around there called it the Cut Restaurant. She lived just out side of Manchester.
