Francis Marion ASHBY he sometime used Francis M., Marion F., Marion ASHBY born KY abt 1840 [per Spencer CO., KY census] married 8/12/68 Spencer CO., KY, Margaret ANN Hughes abt 1847 KY children Francis Thomas ASHBY B. 8/17/1872 William ASHBY ABT 1871 Westley Marion ASHBY ABT 1870 Cora L ASHBY ABT 1878 Mary Lou ASHBY [this name has not been proven] WORD OF FAMILY [not sure] Francis enter the CSA as Marion ASHBY Bowling Green, KY. they are not sure but they Think his Father may been Thomas Marion ASHBY and Francis ASHBY his grandfather, or the other way around.
