My great X4 Granfather's daughtaer Rhoda Caldwell married Joshua Friend. They had three daughters and a son. But the daughters upon marriage seem to be using Sarah as mother. Joshua's father was Jesse, who married Mary Polly Hanks. Jesses's father is Isaac Friend from Bedford co PA. I still need to find death and burials for Jesse and Mary. I think Jesse may have remarried after returning from IL, where he and Mary moved to. Also he may have moved back to IL again??? Joshua remarried after Rhoda died about 1837-8, to Sarah Carter. They lived in Meade county. Joshua was baptisted on his death bed according to St Patrick Church records.
