Jean, No, I didn't know that. I thought that Minton might be Irish but didn't know of a connection to Tipperary. I have not had much luck finding Anna Minton's parents. The closest that I have come is Willis & Serenna (Miller) Minter who are found in the 1850 - 1880 Hardin Co., KY Censuses but I haven't researched that enough to be sure. There is an Ann Minter, 8, in the 1860 Hardin Co., KY Census with Sarena, 40, as HoH. Willis died in 1860. The first time I know for sure that I have Anna (Minton) Carroll is in the 1900 Perry Co., IN Census as HoH, William died 1889. Thanks for your interest. Jane
