    2. Hi Jean, My Irish roots (that I know of) are CARROLL and GAYNOR. My g-grandfather was William CARROLL, b.?1837, 1843, 1846, Co. Tipperary, Ireland; d. 1889, Perry Co., IN, buried St. Michael's Catholic Cem, Cannelton, Perry Co., IN. He married Anna MINTON, b. 1853, Hardin Co., KY. I don't have a marriage date or place for them but the first child that I have for them is James Dionysius, b. Oct 1874, probably Hardin Co., KY, christened Dec 1874 at St. Claire Church, Hardin Co., KY. I have not been able to find much more than that on him. I know there were other Carroll's in the Hardin Co. area, including Grayson and Edmonson, but I have not been able to make any connection. My gg-grandfather was George GAYNOR, b. 1832, possibly Co. Longford, Ireland; d. 1898. He married Eleanor Cathernine TERRELL, (d/o Armstead and Margaret (DAVIS) TERRELL), b. 1837, KY; d. 1899. They married 22 Nov, 1853, Hancock Co., KY. Both are buried at the Utility Cem., Hancock Co., KY. I would love to know more about your Co. Tipperary, Ireland roots and the relationship to Hardin Co., KY. For a long time, I have thought that there must have been relatives in the Hardin Co., KY area for William CARROLL to have chosen that as his destination. Jane Wheaton Evansville, IN
