I found this on Immigrant SWANK/SCHWENK: Jacob Schwenk or Swank, b. 1698, Regensburg, Switzerland, died in PA. He married Catherine Bilz, b. 1702, Regensburg, Switzerland, d. PA. Their dau. Elizabeth, b. 1740, Regensburg, Switzerland, also d. in PA, m. Valentine Ettleman (d. 1810, Bedford Co., PA.) Elizabeth and Valentine Ettleman had a daughter Catherine b. 1765, PA, who m. Daniel Benner, and they went to Washington Co., MD where both died in 1853. Descendants went from MD to PA, to OH, and points west. I also have Balthasar Schwenk or Swank, immigrant, who d. 1763 in Maxatawny Twp., Berks, PA. Wife was Anna Margaret. they were parents of JOHANNES/JOHN SWANK who m. 28 Nov 1769 in Berks Co., PA, Rosannah Summit, and they went to Hardin Co., KY. I tie to their dau. Susannah who m. John Roll, 25 Dec. 1800, in Hardin Co., KY. I haven't made a connection of Balthasar or Jacob, but there could be. Donna
